EVERYBODY NEEDS SALVATION - TODOS PRECISAM DE SALVAÇÃO

My dear reader, read this biblical comment and allow God speak to you. Jesus loves you. Believe it.

"This they said to test him, to have to accuse him. But Jesus bent down and wrote on the ground with his finger." (John 8.6)

The above verse is contained in the report where an adulterous woman is brought to Jesus by his accusers. And with this event, the Lord Jesus is faced with a seemingly insoluble dilemma because divine justice had to be complied with in full. In your conscience you feel accused and deserving of condemnation before the face of God, this is true because God is holy.

But pay attention to the wonderful way that Jesus opened for this woman, this adulterous in his dilemma: "... bent down and wrote on the ground with his finger." It is as if, with this procedure, Jesus wanted to say, "Yes, this woman sinned, but I humble myself in their place." Does He wrote words of mercy on earth? We can imagine so, because soon after telling the woman's accusers: "Whoever among you is without sin, let him first cast a stone at her", they withdrew one by one, and then Jesus again rose and said: " ?. woman ... no one condemned you? she said, no man, Lord Jesus answered him: not so little I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. " This woman found forgiveness and could exclaim: Jesus forgave me! He changed my life!

"Isto diziam eles tentando-o, para terem de que o acusar. Mas Jesus, inclinando-se, escrevia na terra com o dedo." (João 8.6)

O versículo acima está contido no relato onde uma mulher adúltera é trazida a Jesus por seus acusadores. E com esse acontecimento, o Senhor Jesus se defronta com um dilema aparentemente insolúvel, pois a justiça divina tinha que ser cumprida integralmente. Se em sua consciência você se sente acusado e merecedor de condenação diante da face de Deus, isso é verdade, porque Deus é santo.

Mas preste atenção no maravilhoso caminho que Jesus abriu para essa mulher, essa adúltera, em seu dilema: "...inclinando-se, escrevia na terra com o dedo." É como se, com esse procedimento, Jesus quisesse dizer: "Sim, esta mulher pecou, mas eu me humilho em seu lugar." Será que Ele escreveu palavras de misericórdia na terra? Podemos imaginar que sim, pois logo depois de dizer aos acusadores da mulher:"Aquele que dentre vós estiver sem pecado, seja o primeiro que lhe atire pedra", eles se retiraram um por um, e aí Jesus novamente se ergueu e falou: "Mulher... ninguém te condenou? Respondeu ela: Ninguém, Senhor. Então lhe disse Jesus: Nem eu tão pouco te condeno; vai, e não peques mais." Essa mulher achou perdão e podia exclamar: Jesus me perdoou! Ele mudou a minha vida!
